Daniel Sturridge gets the nod as Klopp names attacking team to face Seville
Captain Jordan Henderson will have to make do with a place on the bench for tonight's Europa League final having been named among the substitutes by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
The midfielder was in contention for his first start since early April having returned to action in Sunday's 1-1 draw with West Brom.
Divock Origi, who recently returned to training following an ankle injury, will join him on the bench.
Daniel Sturridge, who has been in and out of the side, is picked to start in attack alongside Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.
Adam Lallana, Liverpool's top scorer in the competition, and James Milner and Emre Can make up the midfield.
Defender Mamadou Sakho is banned following a failed drugs test meaning Kolo Toure and Dejan Lovren are picked at centre-back.
Sevilla - who are bidding to win the trophy for a record third successive season - had no new injury worries. It means top scorer Kevin Gameiro leads the line.
The winner of tonight's final at St Jakob-Park will not only lift the Europa League trophy but will also go straight into the group stage of next season's Champions League.
