Cretaro lights up dark night at Dalymount
GLENTORAN, last year's beaten finalists, crashed out of this season's tournament at Dalymount Park as a small number of their supporters gave ammunition to those who argue that an all-Ireland league would be too much of a security concern.
Gardai had to move in among the visiting fans at the School End and a number of arrests were made.
Glentoran's Jamie McGovern set the tempo for a furiously contested match by picking up a yellow card for a late tackle on Anto Murphy after only 40 seconds. Gary Hamilton gave the visitors the lead on 51 minutes, but Bohs were back on level terms within 10 minutes courtesy of a superb strike from Raffaele Cretaro.

'Pistol Pete' shoots down Saints late on
A last-gasp strike by Northern Ireland international Peter Thompson gave Linfield victory and set up a semi-final showdown with Bohemians, with the first leg on Easter Saturday at Dalymount Park and the return five days later in Belfast.
St Pat's will meet Sligo Rovers in the other semi-final, having qualified as best runners-up.
Thompson, on loan from Stockport County and known to the fans as 'Pistol Pete', produced a flash of his opportunistic skills in injury-time after Conor Kenna failed to clear the ball following a cross by Aiden O'Kane.
