Liverpool's Europa League semi-final second leg with Villarreal marked the first time the Reds played at home since an inquest announced that the 96 Hillsborough victims were unlawfully killed.

Unsurprisingly, the atmosphere was electric in the stadium and the opportunity to honour the victims only added to the already memorable occasion. The fans joined together for a hair-raising version of You'll Never Walk Alone that was so loud, it drowned out the UEFA anthem over the PA.

The camera cut to Kenny Dalglish halfway through, and you didn't need to guess what sort of emotions he was going through after being so badly impacted by the trauma 27 years ago.
