Van der vaart ruled out

Rafael van der Vaart has been ruled out of Tottenham's Champions League clash with European champions Inter Milan tomorrow night.

The Dutch midfielder, who has scored five goals in nine games since his £8m signing from Real Madrid, has a hamstring injury.

Spurs will also be without goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, who is suspended, Michael Dawson, Ledley King and Jermain Defoe.

Manager Harry Redknapp said: "We are missing key players right down the middle of the team, so it's going to be very difficult.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will fly to Turkey as planned today after it was confirmed that their Champions League clash with Bursaspor will go ahead as planned tomorrow despite Saturday's suicide bomb in a tourist area of Istanbul.

United are due to fly directly to Bursa, Turkey's fourth largest city, which is 65 miles from Istanbul.
