Arsenal will be without suspended goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and defender Kieran Gibbs due to a calf injury for Wednesday night's Champions League last-16 second-leg clash away to Bayern Munich.

Striker Yaya Sanogo (foot) also did not travel to Germany, but centre-half Laurent Koscielny is in contention having missed the 4-1 FA Cup win over Everton because of a hamstring problem. Teenage midfielder Isaac Hayden is also in the squad.

Jack Wilshere (fractured foot) remains sidelined, as do fellow midfielders Aaron Ramsey (thigh) and Kim Kallstrom (back), and full-back Nacho Monreal (ankle). Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby remain long-term absentees.
