Steven Gerrard and Harry Redknapp join BT Sport's Champions League coverage

Recently departed Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp are among the new signings for BT Sport for their Champions League coverage this season.
Gary Lineker, accompanied by Jake Humphrey and Rio Ferdinand will front the Champions League coverage on the station which begins this coming season.
Setanta Sports today confirmed that BT Sport Europe, will be available to viewers in the Republic of Ireland as part of the Setanta Sports pack.
The existing BT Sport team which includes Paul Scholes, Michael Owen, Steve McManaman and Owen Hargreaves will be joined by Gerrard, Redknapp, Glenn Hoddle and Howard Webb.
BT Sport will also broadcast a new ‘Goals’ show, presented by James Richardson, where viewers can tune in on Champions League nights to enjoy all of the news and action across all eight games as it happens.
In the group stages the Setanta Sports Pack will show all Tuesday games live, all Wednesday games live and all Thursday games exclusively live.
