EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS Barcelona were held in their opening Champions League clash of the season when a last-minute AC Milan goal resulted in a 2-2 draw at the Nou camp last night.
As early as the first minute, the Italians threatened to spoil the Catalan party when Pato found the back of the net with a stunning opener.
Pedro put the hosts back on course, though, when he levelled after 36 minutes and David Villa scored what looked like the winner for the home side after 50 minutes.
However, Milan refused to lie down and Thiago Silva dramatically headed home in the 93rd minute to claim a point for Milan.
In the other game in Group H, Plzen of the Czech Republic drew 1-1 with Belarus outfit BATE.
In Group F, where Arsenal drew 1-1 with Borussia Dortmund, Marseille recorded a priceless 1-0 away win over Olimpiacos thanks to a Lucho Gonzalez goal in the 51st minute.
The crack French outfit were forced to hang on in the final moments of the game when Rod Fanni was sent off.
In Group G, Porto saw off nine-man Shakhtar Donetsk at the Dragao stadium in Porto.
Porto took the lead through Luiz Adriano after 12 minutes, Hulk equalised on 28 minutes before Kleber notched the winner on 51 minutes.
Yaroslav Rakitskiy and Dmytro Chygrynskiy saw red for the visitors.
