Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Manchester for the final four clash, after Real Madrid were able to overturn a 2-0 first leg deficit against Wolfsburg to win 3-0 at the Bernabeu and advance. Manchester City progressed after a Kevin de Bruyne goal earned them a 1-0 victory over PSG at the Ethiad to win 3-2 on aggregate.

The other semi-final sees Bayern Munich take on Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone's men stunningly knocked out holders Barcelona last Wednesday after a 2-0 win wiped out their 2-1 first leg deficit while Bayern Munich qualified for the penultimate stage after a 4-2 aggregate win over Benfica.

The semi-final draw means there is still a possiblity of Pep Guardiola's Bayern playing Manchester City in the final just weeks before he joins them as their new manager.

The Spaniard has yet to win the Champions League during his time in Bavaria, with his team getting knocked out at the semi-final stage during the last two campaigns.
