UEFA have announced that Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai will officiate the Champions League final between Barcelona and Manchester United at Wembley on Saturday.
Kassai, 35, has officiated more than 60 UEFA matches during his career and encountered Sir Alex Ferguson's side earlier in the season when he took charge of their 1-0 victory over Valencia during the group stages when he brandished only a single yellow card.
He was also the man in the middle when a Spain side featuring Barcelona stars Gerard Pique, Carles Puyol, David Villa, Xavi, Pedro and Andres Iniesta beat Germany 1-0 in Durban to reach the 2010 World Cup final.
All the match officials are from Hungary as Gabor Eros and Gyorgy Ring will assist Kassai, with Istvan Vad filling the role of fourth official.
The two additional assist referees are Mihaly Fabian and Tamas Bognar and Robert Kispal will act as a reserve.
