Didi Hamann is no stranger to a wild Champions League turnaround but even the former Liverpool star was stunned after Barcelona struck three late goals to sink PSG.

The Spanish giants booked their place in the quarter-finals after Sergi Roberto guided the ball home in the final minute of injury time, completing a remarkable comeback that saw Barcelona win 6-1 on the night after scoring three times in the final eight minutes.

Hamann was famously a key man in Liverpool's six minute turnaround against AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final, and the Reds legend summed up a crazy night of football on RTE after the game.

"I've still got goosebumps now," he said.

"I've never seen anything like that and I'll never see anything like that again.

"They had to come back twice.

"Luis Enrique is beside himself. There are people in the stand crying. What a comeback and what a team."

Liam Brady joked that Enrique 'has to go on and win it now' while Richie Sadlier wondered how PSG can recover from such a momentous collapse.
