Gonzalez to the rescue
Mark Gonzalez salvaged a draw for CSKA Moscow in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Sevilla.
Gonzalez, who joined CSKA last summer from Sevilla's local rivals Real Betis, caught out goalkeeper Andres Palop with a 35-yard drive in the 66th minute.
After a relatively quiet opening, Sevilla took the lead in the 25th minute through Alvaro Negredo. The Real Madrid youth-team product will be happy at having a positive influence following a difficult fortnight, when he was sent off twice and scored and own goal in La Liga.
The home team, playing their first competitive match in over two months, came more into the game after equalising and Palop made a smart save to deny Tomas Necid in the closing stages.
