Barca hope chef's youth team role will be recipe for success
Barcelona have already found the recipe for success on the field and now they plan to perfect their preparation in the kitchen to help produce their next Lionel Messi.
The Spanish giants have added one of the world's best cooks to their squad after signing up famed avant-garde chef Ferran Adria (right) to revamp their youth academy menu.
The European champions say the former El Bulli chef will redesign the club's La Masia meals to "foster healthy eating and exercise" by providing the club's future stars with the best possible diet.
It all adds to the attraction of joining a club whose slogan 'more than just a club' has never seemed more apt. Although getting a seat in Adria's kitchen may now be even more difficult than reserving a table at the infamous El Bulli restaurant, which had almost as many honours to its name as Barcelona including three Michelin Stars. It's a delicious combination anyway you look at it.
