Bray Wds v Galway United

(Carlisle Grounds, 7.45)

League form: Bray LLWLL, Galway United LLLLL

Match odds: Bray 1/8, Galway United 16/1, Draw 13/2

Referee: A Buttimer (Cork)

Team news: Bray have signed Ireland U-19 international Kevin Knight, who comes straight into a Seagulls squad at full strength. Sean Kelly, Johnny Keane (both knee) and Bobby Ryan miss out for basement boys Galway, who welcome Yob Son back.

Talking point: Injuries caught up with Pat Devlin's squad over the last month but tonight represents a chance to get back to winning ways and, with everyone fit, the Wicklow side will be hoping they can begin a return to form.

Verdict: Home win

Derry City v St Patrick's Ath

(Brandywell, 7.45)

League form: Derry WWWDW, St Pat's WLDDD

Match odds: Derry 4/6, Pat's 4/1, Draw 5/2

Referee: D McKeon (Dublin)

Team news: Derry's Gareth McGlynn is out for six weeks after damaging his cartilage in the Dublin Super Cup. Goalkeeper Gary Rogers and midfielder Shane McFaul are banned for St Pat's after their red cards against UCD. Anto Murphy is out through injury while Stephen Bradley is doubtful.

Talking point: Life after James McClean begins for Derry City, but promising teenager Stephen McLaughlin has deputised well for him already this season. How important was the winger to the Candystripes' title bid? Tonight's game will be a good indication of their ambitions.

Verdict: Home win

Drogheda Utd v Dundalk

(Hunky Dory Park, 7.45)

League form: Drogheda LLLWW, Dundalk LDWDD

Match odds: Drogheda 4/1, Dundalk 7/10, Draw 5/2

Referee: R Winter (Wicklow)

Team news: Brian Gannon returns from suspension for Drogheda, while Jack Flynn and Colm O'Brien are still out with injury. Dundalk are again without Eoghan Osborne (fractured tibia), Stephen McDonnell (knee) and Colin Hawkins (hamstring), while Nathan Murphy is doubtful.

Talking point: Having already beaten Dundalk, won their last two matches and severely tested Sligo and Shamrock Rovers, Drogheda's odds look extremely generous this evening. Mick Cooke's men are in form and this should be a cracking derby.

Verdict: Home win

Shamrock Rovers v UCD

(Tallaght Stadium, 8.0)

League form: Shamrock Rovers LWLWW, UCD DWLLD

Match odds: Shamrock Rovers 1/7, UCD 12/1, Draw 12/1

Referee: P Tuite (Dublin)

Team news: Ken Oman remains sidelined with a knee injury while Stephen O'Donnell's hamstring keeps him out and Chris Turner is suspended. Ronan Finn (groin) is a doubt, but Karl Sheppard returns after his recent injury lay-off. UCD welcome back Samir Belhout, but Darren Meenan is suspended.

Talking point: Europe appears to have heightened the Hoops' senses and they were markedly superior in last week's derby game against Bohs. UCD have struggled against the big guns all season and this one should be three points for Rovers.

Verdict: Home win
