SHAMROCK Rovers were reduced to 10 men but managed to hold on to their unbeaten start to the Airtricity League with a disappointing scoreless draw away to Bohemians.
A second yellow card for defender Derek Foran after just 37 minutes went a long way towards ending the game as an entertaining contest following what had been a bright opening.
Bohemians forward Karl Moore came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 69th minute but Barry Murphy had enough time to parry his long-range shot to safety.
Shamrock Rovers have yet to concede in this year's campaign, and their defensive abilities were again to the fore in what turned into a dour encounter.
