Arsenal's Andrei Arshavin covers Liverpool players in manure in spoof YouTube video

A YouTube video spoof of Back To The Future showing Arsenal forward Andrei Arshavin covering his Liverpool rivals in manure has become an internet hit.

Arshavin, who scored four times against Liverpool in a 4-4 draw last April and fired in a spectacular winning goal against them last weekend, is shown heaping further humiliation – and manure – on his Anfield rivals.

The Russian is shown on a skateboard, clinging onto the front of a car driven by Steven Gerrard.

As Marty McFly, the character played by Michael J Fox in Eighties blockbuster Back To The Future, Arshavin jumps over the car, leaving Gerrard with passengers Pepe Reina and Jamie Carragher to crash into a cart full of manure.

A furious trio of Rafa Benítez, Yossi Benayoun and Fernando Torres look on as their Liverpool colleagues are buried in the stinking load, while Arshavin's Arsenal team-mate Emmanuel Eboué breaks into a broad grin.

The spoof clip has been viewed over 123,000 times in the 48 hours since it was posted.

The creator, known as AndreiSaysShhh, said the clip was "a video I made about the little Russian magician Andrei Arshavin."

Fans of the video described it as "the best I have ever seen" and "so simple, yet so brilliant."

One comment, from LarBennon, read: "I'm a Liverpool fan, and I've got to say I found that hilarious.

"Here's to hoping he's scored his last goal against us!"
