Agent blasts 'nobody' Cruyff
FOOTBALL agents really have a way with words sometimes. Take Zlatan Ibrahimovic's representa-tive on planet Earth, Mino Raiola.
The Dutchman blasted compatriot Johan Cruyff after the Barcelona legend claimed Ibrahimovic was better suited to the slower demands of Serie A rather than La Liga, where he had an unhappy spell with the Catalan club. Cruyff made the comments after watching Ibrahimovic put in a fine performance for AC Milan against Inter last weekend, in which he scored the winning goal.
Raiola, who once claimed Barca coach Pep Guardiola should be admitted to a psychiatric home because he didn't appear to rate his client, said: "Cruyff can go to hell! He is a nobody. I think Cruyff should be in a mental asylum with Guardiola. They would be doing Barcelona a great favour."
Not exactly holding back, is he? Unfortunately for Raiola, though, Barcelona have taken great offence to his comments and halted any payments due to him while they have also threatened legal action.
