Adebayor bags one-year loan move to Spurs
Tottenham have completed the signing of Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City on a season-long loan.
The former Arsenal striker's move has been confirmed after City's football administrator Brian Marwood had earlier revealed Adebayor had undergone a medical.
Meanwhile, Luka Modric yesterday met with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to discuss his future at the club with Chelsea weighing up whether to make a fourth and final offer for the 25-year-old midfielder.
Chelsea have also not given up trying to sign Porto's Alvaro Pereira, with Andre Villas-Boas confirming that a bid had been made.
Arsene Wenger is hoping to rebuild his depleted midfield over the next five days, with Marseille's Lucho Gonzalez, Sochaux's Marvin Martin and Yann M'Vila of Rennes heading his list of targets.
There is also an interest in Eden Hazard, although Lille insist he is going nowhere.
