Boss Claudio Ranieri will be careful not to upset the dynamic of his close-knit squad and, here, Press Association Sport looks at five players who the Foxes manager could target to strengthen.

Aleksandar Dragovic

The Foxes were interested in the Dynamo Kiev defender in January and they will need reinforcements at the back now the Champions League looms.

The Austria international has 29 caps for his country and has Champions League experience, having scored against Chelsea in November and helped Kiev to the last 16 this season.

He is likely to be in Austria's Euro 2016 squad and will already know international team-mate Christian Fuchs.

Ahmed Musa

Another long-term target, the forward - who can also play wide - has impressed at CSKA Moscow over the last four years.

He adds more much-needed Champions League experience and the Foxes were reportedly considering a bid for the 23-year-old in January.

Musa was part of Nigeria's 2014 World Cup squad, scoring in their 3-2 defeat to Argentina.

Guillaume Hubert

The 6ft 6in goalkeeper was on City's radar earlier this season and they have good links with Liege after the sale of Anthony Knockaert a year ago.

Mark Schwarzer is expected to leave in the summer with Ben Hamer also having little future at the King Power Stadium, having failed to play since January 2015.

Leicester will need back up for Kasper Schmeichel next season, although they do have highly-rated Dane Daniel Iversen on the books, and Hubert could fit the bill.

Vincent Aboubakar

The Porto forward has caught they eye after some impressive performances in Portugal and is within Leicester's financial reach.

He has scored 12 goals in 43 games for Cameroon and the 24-year-old is another with Champions League experience.

With just Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki and Leonardo Ulloa as mainline strikers Ranieri will need to beef up his forward line for their title defence and Champions League campaign.

Nampalys Mendy

The Foxes have been blessed with top quality holding midfielders in the last two seasons after Esteban Cambiasso and N'Golo Kante - so much so Switzerland skipper Gokhan Inler cannot get into the team.

Nice midfielder Mendy could fit the bill and the Foxes were linked with the 23-year-old last summer as they tried to fill the gap left by last season's Player of the Year Cambiasso.

There has to be a contingency plan in place with Kante linked with a move away after a stunning first season in the Barclays Premier League.
