Henry Shefflin will make his first championship start of 2013 for this weekend's All-Ireland quarter-final with Cork at Semple Stadium.

King Henry has been struggling to find fitness all season and has only been a bit part player for Brian Cody this season but returns to partner Walter Walsh and Richie Hogan in a very strong inside forward line.

Aidan Fogarty makes way for the Ballyhale Shamrocks legend who has shown his incredible powers of recovery once more.

The 11-time All Star was out of action from last December until the start of this month due to ankle and foot injuries.

Influential midfielder Michael Fennelly also returns with Eoin Larkin moving into the half-forward line in place of Matthew Ruth and Fennelly partnering Cillian Buckley in midfield. Michael Rice is the player to miss out.

KILKENNY (SH v Cork): E Murphy; P Murphy, JJ Delaney, J Tyrrell; T Walsh, B Hogan, K Joyce; C Buckley, M Fennelly; C Fennelly, R Power, E Larkin; W Walsh, R Hogan, H Shefflin.
