Ryan Moore is already looking forward to 2017 after Minding was named Horse Of The Year at the annual Cartier Racing Awards.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained filly landed the coveted prize after a tremendous season that saw her win five Group One races, culminating in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on Champions Day where she defeated the colts and older horses.
"Minding has been a fantastic filly all year and Aidan and his team have got her in great shape every time," Moore told At The Races.
"She always ran her heart out and she never let us down. It was a privilege to ride her and, all being well, we'll see her next year.
"It was nice for her to beat the boys at the end of the year."
Minding also claimed top honours in the Cartier Three-Year-Old Filly category, while stablemate Found, who led home a remarkable 1-2-3 for O'Brien and Coolmore in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, was named Cartier Older Horse of the year.
Ascot Gold Cup hero Order Of St George landed the Cartier Stayer Award for the Ballydoyle-Coolmore axis and Churchill was named Cartier Two-Year-Old Colt of the year.
The Cartier/Daily Telegraph Award of Merit went to O'Brien, who has enjoyed a truly stunning year.
