Young guns

Luke O'Dea: A member of Shannon since he was 12, O'Dea is known for his ability to spot gaps, his strength in holding his feet when tackled and for possessing an exceptional step. Pace-wise, he has been likened to versatile attacker Keith Earls.

Stephen Archer

A big night for the tight-head, who faces an experienced operator in Scotland international Kyle Traynor. A powerful performance could nudge Archer towards the BJ Botha back-up role.

Paddy Butler

There has been a lot of talk about the No 8's potential, with the 'next Denis Leamy' tag well-worn at this stage, and Peter O'Mahony has shown the way. Against a rugged Edinburgh back-row, this would be an ideal opportunity for Butler to stake his claim.
