Rugby World Cup 2015: Robbie Henshaw fit and ready to begin Rugby World Cup odyssey
Robbie Henshaw is fit and available for selection for Ireland's clash with Romania on Sunday.
The Connacht centre suffered a hamstring injury in training last week and was forced to miss the pool opener against Canada.
The 22-year-old is available for selection for the Romania clash despite not completing a full training session.
“As in any match we would be managing players in and out of training, so some guys who may have trained yesterday may have sat out today,” explained Ireland team manager Mick Kearney.
“The good news to report is that every player is fit and available for the match on Sunday, so team announcement coming up on Friday.”
Joe Schmidt generally selects his match-day squads based on the players who have completed the full training week, which would suggest that Henshaw is unlikely to feature at Wembley.
Johnny Sexton (knee), Iain Henderson (back) and Peter O'Mahony (knock) sat out yesterday's session but are ready for Romania,
