Williams in line to face Ulster

Shane Williams is set to hand Wales a timely Six Nations boost with a return to action for the Ospreys at Ulster this weekend.

The former IRB World Player of the Year could be on the bench for the Welsh region's Magners League trip to Belfast on Friday.

Williams (32) has been out of action since November after he tore a hamstring in Wales' autumn defeat to Australia.

Meanwhile, Lions and Wales centre Jamie Roberts has signed a new contract that will keep him at Cardiff Blues until 2013.

Roberts, the Lions' player of the series on last summer's tour to South Africa, is a product of the Blues' academy and made his debut for the region in 2005.
