Wilkinson to extend stay
Jonny Wilkinson looks set to sign for a second season with French club Toulon.
England's World Cup-winning out-half moved to the Top 14 side from Newcastle last summer and has since returned to the national team after a long injury-enforced absence.
His agent Tim Buttimore is confident that a new deal will be agreed soon.
"Talks are progressing well," Buttimore said. "He is really enjoying life out there and we want to get it sorted out sooner rather than later -- a matter of a few weeks."
Toulon coach Philippe Saint-Andre is delighted with how the 30-year-old has adapted to life across the Channel.
"There is less pressure on him here and he looks happy," he said. "There are a few things to sort out, but I'm confident he'll stay."
Toulon are seventh in the table.
