Grenoble boss Bernard Jackman will be anxiously awaiting the findings of the citing commissioner after a number of flashpoints in his side's 36-23 Top 14 victory over Brive
A mass brawl kicked off just before halftime after Brive prop Damien Jourdain was lifted off his feet by opposite number Sona Taumalolo during a scrum, prompting Jourdain to punch the Tongan.
Replacement players and staff members rushed off the bench to join in with the violent melee lasting about one minute as the punches flew and players grappled on the ground.
Watch footage below:
Jourdain, Taumalolo and Grenoble center Nigel Hunt of New Zealand were all red-carded - meaning that Grenoble started the second half with 13 players against 14.
The ill-tempered match also saw Brive flyhalf Matthieu Ugalde make contact with the eye area of Grenoble's Armand Battle.
The gouging incident occurred in the 64th minute as Battle dived over for a try.
