Video: This haymaker of a punch could prove very costly for Australia and Michael Hooper

In the aftermath of Australia’s bonus point 34-9 win over Argentina last night, Wallabies coach Michael Cheika must have allowed himself a moment of satisfactory reflection as his side will now host the All Blacks with a chance to win the Rugby Championship.
However, a few hours later and a lot of gloss has been taken off Australia’s opening two wins in the southern hemisphere tournament.
First, maverick out-half Quade Cooper sent a foul-mouthed tweet in the early hours of the morning that hinted at discontent between him and the management.
Cooper has since apologised but one of his team-mates could now been in trouble. Openside flanker Michael Hooper has been in scintillating form for the Wallabies recently but is in danger of missing the All Blacks game after being cited for this off-the-ball haymaker during last night’s game in Mendoza.
This is a proper whack.
If Hooper is banned, Australia still have an excellent replacement in poacher David Pocock but Cheika will still be disappointed that two key men in his squad are in the news for the wrong reasons this morning.
