Jared Payne wasn't selected in the Ireland 23 for tonight's clash with Wales but he has been deemed fit enough to play in Ulster's Pro12 fixture with Zebre tomorrow night.

There had been speculation that Payne would come back into the Ireland fold after playing against Treviso last weekend, but after sitting out training due to bruising, Joe Schmidt opted against picking the Kiwi.

Last Friday's win over Treviso was Payne's first start since he was sidelined during the autumn series with a lacerated kidney, and his return to fitness posed a selection problem for Schmidt given the form of Ireland outside centre Garry Ringrose.

Payne has almost exclusively been used as a 13 in green, but will play in his favoured 15 jersey for Ulster tomorrow in their rescheduled clash with Zebre.

Here is the Ulster team in full, with the game kicking off at 6.05pm.
