Emerging Ireland tighthead prop Ricky Lutton has signed a two-year professional contract with Ulster, while full-back Ricky Andrew has penned a one-year deal.
Both players will play a vital role when Ulster travel to face Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun this Friday as they look to consolidate second place in the Pro12.
Lutton will be in for John Afoa with the All Black still suffering with a back injury. Meanwhile, Andrew, who will again stand in for the banned Jared Payne, is doubtful himself as he gets over a throat infection.
Ulster will be without Robbie Diack, however. It has emerged that the forward has not broken any bones after he limped off with an ankle injury in the big win over Connacht last Friday, but has sustained torn ligaments.
He will be monitored before any decision is made to include him in the squad for the upcoming Leinster clash.
