UCD RFC will mark their centenary season with a fixture under lights against the Combined Universities comprising players from UCC, Trinity (TCD), Queen's and NUIG on the eve of the Ireland versus South Africa match on Friday at the UCD Bowl, Belfield (7.0).

Entry will be €10 and €5 for OAPs with student card holders being admitted free.

There will be a half-time penalty kicking competition -- the Paddy Power Crossbar Challenge -- featuring participants drawn from the crowd, with a potential prize of €25,000.

The Combined Universities squad, which is being coached by Conor Twomey of UCC and Tony Smeeth of Trinity, was selected following the recent Dudley Cup competition, which was won by UCD.

UCD, who are currently second with a 100pc record in Division 2 of the All-Ireland League, are coached by Bobby Byrne, Gary Coakley and Killian Keane.
