Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal sparks Paul O'Connell transfer rumours again
The speculation surrounding the future of Paul O'Connell is becoming tiresome but Toulon's multi-millionaire owner is making sure that it doesn't go away.
Mourad Boudjellal was interviewed on French radio station RMC yesterday following his side's unprecedented third European title in a row.
He was asked if Paul O'Connell and South African powerhouse Duane Vermueulen would be playing with his team next year and responded: "One of the two will be at Toulon."
The statement may mean that the Springbok star is on his way to France but his stance seems at odds with the flat denial the club made to the O'Connell rumours a couple of weeks ago.
O'Connell and Toulon distanced themselves from the rumours when they first emerged a fortnight ago.
