The key battle

v TI'I PAULO
Strauss has been a revelation for Leinster this season, when the retirement of John Fogarty has meant a sizeable workload for the South African. His energy around the park has been relentless and, lacking the bulk of most opponents, Strauss has also worked hard on his scrummaging technique under Greg Feek.
Last weekend, tight duties against a leviathan Clermont pack meant Strauss was not as prominent in the loose but that could change today, while he will also want to increase his line-out throwing efficiency. Once again, he goes up against Paulo, who has a two-stone advantage in weight and four inches in height. The Samoan is good enough to keep the redoubtable Mario Ledesma on the Clermont bench, but Strauss is ready to draw off the crowd and turn in a mighty display.
Leinster victory 13/8, draw 25/1. In handicap betting, Clermont are 10/11 at +4 points
4 The number of tries scored by Clermont's Julien Malzieu in two games against Leinster.
