Morgan Parra v
The inclusion of Boss was the major surprise in the Leinster team and the New Zealand-born scrum-half was described as a "horses for courses" selection ahead of Eoin Reddan.
Boss carries a pronounced physical edge over his opposite number Parra, who is a typically elusive, footballing, goal-kicking French No 9 in the style of Dimitri Yachvili and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde. Boss has a major defensive role to play, getting in the face of Parra and squaring up to the Clermont fringe runners -- his biggest day in a Leinster jersey so far.
