Nothing stirs debate quite like combined selections, and Wales Online's best fifteen since the Six Nations came into being in 2000 is full of talking points.
The Welsh media outlet names four Irish players in the selection – Tommy Bowe, Brian O'Driscoll, Keith Wood and Paul O'Connell – which is the same number of Welsh representatives.
Not surprisingly England make up nearly half the side, backed up with members of their 2003 World Cup winning side, not to mention four Six Nations championship campaigns, with some of the most formidable players to ever grace the game.
"Unrivalled" Brian O'Driscoll, "inspirational" Paul O'Connell were automatic choices, while Tommy Bowe beat off competition from Vincent Clerc and Josh Lewsey for the number 14 jersey.
Special words of praise are reserved for hooker Keith Wood for a 58-cap international career that included a victorious Lions Tour.
"Played in an Ireland side that often struggled at the top end of the game but he proved himself to be in the mix with the best players in the world during his career," the article contends.
Ronan O'Gara is edged out by World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson, while Gordon Darcy's hopes of claiming the number 12 jersey are scuppered by the presence of another member of Clive Wilkinson's all-conquering 2003 side, Will Greenwood.
Despite just nine wins in the Six Nations Championship from 50 Tests, talismanic Italian captain Sergio Parisse is given the nod at the base of the scrum ahead of Jamie Heaslip and Toby Faletau.
Five-time Six Nation's champions France have just one representative – Fabien Galthie – while struggling Scotland are completely overlooked in the selection.
