Watch - 'Mouth-watering Six Nations decider with England still very much on the cards' - Luke Fitzgerald analyses Ireland win
Ireland sit on six points after two games of the 2017 Six Nations, and Luke Fitzgerald thinks that this afternoon's win can serve as a springboard for Joe Schmidt's men.
Many people had tipped Ireland for a Grand Slam before the start of the championship but those hopes were ended after just one match when Scotland won 27-22 at Murrayfield last Saturday. Ireland bounced back in style today with a nine-try 63-10 bonus point win in Rome, with CJ Stander and Craig Gilroy both scoring hat-tricks.
In a special episode of The Left Wing straight from Rome, Luke Fitzgerald goes over the afternoon's proceedings with Irish Independent rugby correspondent Ruaidhri O'Connor as they discuss how Ireland were able to kick-start their Six Nations campaign.
"Things look very, very different now," Fitzgerald said.
"If we can get a win against France and then something against Wales it could still be a decider against England."
