Similar to Joe Schmidt’s side, the Irish women lost to England last time out but are still on course to retain their Six Nations title, with the Italians travelling to Dublin to try and seek avenge for last year’s defeat.

The game will be a huge occasion for the sport in Ireland as it will represent the first time a women’s international will be hosted at the Aviva Stadium, following on after the men’s fixture at 2.30pm.

The team have been showing their gratitude for the well wishes they have received and hope they can call on a raucous support on Saturday as they have their eyes set on victory.
