IT brings a whole new meaning to the complaint, ‘Stop Dad, you’re embarrassing me’.

Wales winger George North has revealed that his father the Paris pitch invader as Wales enjoyed Six Nations win over France.

Only a small number of fans made the trip to Paris on the back of a dreadful run of form – but David North was among them.

And when his son scored the winning try just 10 metres away from his seat, David North jumped the barrier to join his son on the pitch.

Unsurprisingly he was quickly escorted away by stewards, but managed to remain in the ground when he explained his identity..

“He just lost his head in the excitement,” George North said.

“To be honest, I can’t understand why running on to the pitch was the first thing that came into his head.

"A couple of the boys were saying, 'Is that your old man?' And everyone was like, 'No, it can’t be'," he added.
