IRISH referee Alain Rolland has been forced to withdraw from the Six Nations clash between Italy and England in Rome on February 11, when he was due to act as assistant referee, after picking up a calf muscle strain. Rolland will be replaced by fellow countryman George Clancy.

The injury is not expected to prevent Rolland from refereeing France versus England in Paris on March 11 and Italy versus Scotland in Rome on March 17.
