AFTER last week's heartening intervention from Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary, who delivered a pep talk to the Irish rugby team at their Carton House base, some of the players might have been keen to line up another guest speaker this week.
However, Declan Kidney's tactics of deploying outside voices is supposed to work only on an occasional basis -- familiarity would breed contempt for such an idea.
And particularly when the suggestion from one of the jokers in the Irish camp put forward Brian Kennedy as a possible candidate.
