Ireland drop to fourth in the latest world rankings despite Italy win
England's come-from-behind victory over Wales at the Millennium Stadium has seen Stuart Lancaster's side leapfrog Ireland into third position in the new IRB world rankings.
Ireland claimed an eighth victory on the trot with their 26-3 victory over the Italians in Rome but it wasn't enough to secure their third place in the rankings, which they earned following victories over Australia and South Africa in the November internationals.
The only other change in the Top 10 sees Vern Cotter's Scotland slide one place to ninth with the Pumas now in eighth.
The All Blacks stay safely at the top of the rankings with South Africa in second.
Ireland's opponents on Saturday, France, remain in seventh.
