After a nerve-wrecking finale, Joe Schmidt’s side held on for a slender victory over a strong French challenge to claim the title in what was Brian O’Driscoll’s final appearance in a green jersey.

The celebrations will go on for quite some time we’d imagine and the changing room looked a joyous place as the Six Nations trophy was passed from one ecstatic Irishman to the next.

Cian Healy even encouraged his teammates to mimic the famous Oscars-style pose in the height of their jubilation, tweeting “enough is enough” along with the photo.
