The 34-year-old will join up with fellow Six Nations heroes Cian Healy, Kearney brothers Rob and Dave, and Jamie Heaslip next week for a dinner to raise awareness for the ISPCC's Shield anti-bullying campaign at Heaslip's Dublin restaurant Bear.

A string of other well-known names will also be in attendance, including photographer Barry McCall and Naoise Nunn, the artistic director of The Cat Laughs comedy festival.

Meanwhile, O'Driscoll's illustrious rugby career will be celebrated on Saturday when Dublin City Council grants him the freedom of the city.

O'Driscoll was nominated by Lord Mayor Oisin Quinn last November, but the public ceremony was delayed due to the rugby player's hectic schedule.
