BBC Six Nations promo that was pulled for being anti-English is leaked

Young Ireland fans all agree that England was the team they wanted to beat

Footage of a promotional video that was produced before the start of the 2012 Six Nations but was pulled for being anti-English has been uncovered.

The video shows fans from Ireland, Scotland and Wales all agree that the team they want to beat the most is England.

Fans don't blink or need a second thought before declaring that they most desire to beat the team in White.

Confusingly, it begins showing Welsh, Scottish, Irish and Italian fans shouting out the word England.

Later, we realise they are shouting out the name of the team they most want to beat.

The video has gone viral across Ireland and Britian.

A BBC spokeswoman is reported as saying: "The creative concept for the Six Nations trail was around fans being united in rivalry.

"We featured real fans from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland in the trail all talking about who they wanted to beat.

"The non- English fans interviewed for the trail all wanted to beat England which made the first cut of the trail slightly unbalanced.

"We therefore changed the balance of the fans in the next edit to make the trail more representative."
