'Zaga just too good
Gonzaga 19 St Gerard's 5
Arthur Henry's Gonzaga moved confidently into the quarter-finals at Donnybrook yesterday.
They went about their business smoothly for No 8 Hugh Fitzgerald to cleverly use the butt of the post for the first try, converted by scrum-half Max Colgan, in the ninth minute. The lead was doubled when Brian Barron's cutback wrongfooted the defence. It stayed that way until six minutes into the new half when centre Henry's right-handed fend set up the third try.
St Gerard's were game all the way, picking up a well-earned try from prop Joshua Kidd as they battled bravely to the end.
