Cistercian College scored seven tries as they cruised into the final with the minimum of fuss in Portarlington yesterday.

Jeremy Sweetnam and Peter Ennis had tries inside the opening 11 minutes. Conor O'Leary failed to add extra points after either try.

Then James Foley got the try his performance deserved two minutes before the break. This time O'Leary made no mistake.

The change of ends brought new hope for Naas and they finally got some possession in the Roscrea '22', but O'Leary intercepted a pass and led a breakout that ended with a Tim Carroll try.

Hugh O'Connell, Peter Gavin and Ennis went on to score tries in the second half as a demoralised Naas caved in. Fionn Higgins converted two of those scores as Roscrea ran out clear winners.
