Ruddock to lead 'A' team raid
LEINSTER go in search of their third successive bonus-point win in the British and Irish Cup when they take on Llanelli at Parc y Scarlets tomorrow.
The depth of Leinster's squad was apparent in the 32-18 win over Esher and the 42-20 success against Melrose, and once again there is a healthy mix of players with first-team experience.
Rhys Ruddock skippered the first team during the World Cup and his brother Ciaran captains the 'A' side from the back-row, where he lines out alongside Jordi Murphy and Leo Auva'a.
Auva'a has impressed since signing his first professional contract and he has scored three tries in nine outings in the Pro12.
Jamie Hagan also reverts back to 'A' team duty after a few outings with Joe Schmidt's side and he packs down alongside Jack McGrath and hooker Aaron Dundon.
The back three has an exciting look to it, with Dave Kearney lining out at full-back and Darren Hudson and Andrew Conway on wings.
Leinster -- D Kearney; D Hudson, B Macken, C O'Shea, A Conway; N Reid, J Cooney; J McGrath, A Dundon, J Hagan; B Marshall, M Flanagan; C Ruddock, J Murphy, L Auva'a. Reps: T Sexton, J O'Connell, J Coughlan, C Gilsenan, L McGrath, C Marshall, A Boyle.
