In his first major international, Keith Brown had an eventful afternoon, particularly at the scrum.
He entered the Irish dressing-room before the match to emphasise the fact that he would be extending the engagement procedure -- as per IRB regulations -- but his drawn-out delivery was frustrating for everyone, including spectators.
Although Ireland were undeniably under pressure at scrum-time, Brown did penalise them unjustly on a couple of occasions. Elsewhere, the New Zealander controlled matters with easy authority.
