LEINSTER'S chances of winning Pool 2 were boosted as Racing Metro suffered a surprise defeat to Saracens in Paris yesterday. Owen Farrell was the key man as the London side took a 16-0 lead into half-time, kicking two penalties, a drop goal and a conversion while also setting up Brad Barritt's try.
A second-half fightback saw Racing nearly overhaul that lead but the English side were able to hold on. Racing did get the consolation of a bonus point after two converted tries, however. Victory for Leinster today would put them in the box-seat to top the group.
