Young Munster can upset the odds

Young Munster's remarkable late surge saw them claim the fourth play-off spot on the final day of the regular league season and today (2.30) they will go up against the same side who they beat to get there - Lansdowne.
The Cookies haven't lifted the title since 1993; Mike Ruddock's runaway league leaders took it just two years ago.
Lansdowne will be a different proposition to the side who were beaten 15-5 in Limerick, and with home advantage and several faces set to return, they will be quietly confident.
Cian Kelleher and Tom Farrell have both won the Rising Star award this season and the pacey youngsters will be central to Lansdowne's hopes of making it to the final.
Young Munster are the only side from outside of the capital left in the competition, and their head coach John Staunton is relishing the challenge ahead.
"It's cup rugby from here on in. To win it outright would be immense for Limerick rugby, Munster rugby and for Young Munster," he said.
Don't back against them doing just that.
Verdict: Young Munster
