Tony Ward and a panel of sports journalists selected players who showed exceptional form.

Students from Belvedere College, Cistercian College Roscrea, Clongowes Wood College, Newbridge College, St Michaels, CBC Monkstown, and Blackrock College were presented with jerseys by Leinster stars Rob Kearney and Isaac Boss.

"This has been a magical year for rugby," Ward said. "We were looking for players who delivered on the big day."

Independent News and Media Group Editor Stephen Rae, and CEO of Leinster Rugby Michael Dawson, attended the event. The team will be published in the Irish Independent Leinster Rugby supplement on Friday May 1.
