Munster 'A' will be eager to build on their win over Yorkshire Carnegie last time out as they host Ospreys Premiership Select at Rosbrien this evening (7.30).

South African winger Gerhard van den Heever will undoubtedly be disappointed to miss out on section for tomorrow's Champions Cup clash against Leicester Tigers and he will certainly have a point to prove.

Coach Mick O'Driscoll has again included brothers David and Bill Johnston in the backline, while last season's Ulster Bank League player of the year Matt D'Arcy gets a start at inside-centre.

Up front, the vastly experienced Billy Holland skippers the side, while Sean Doyle continues his search for full fitness in the back-row.

Munster are four points head of Ospreys but O'Driscoll isn't reading too much into the pool table.

"This week is a big challenge again, the Ospreys are a good side. They may have had two losses in their opening rounds but certainly their home game was very close," he said.

"They will have a number of club players and players from the Ospreys academy involved so we're expecting a very tough game but hopefully it will be a little more evenly matched compared to some of the English Championship sides we've played.

"It's very important that things go well again for us and that the lads get stuck in, starting a big weekend off for the club."

Munster have enough quality in their starting XV to do just that.

Verdict: Munster 'A'
